Emma & Steve’s Wedding

Emma and Steve enjoyed a lovely winter wedding at St. Andrews Church in Dover followed by reception at Dover Town Hall. Alas no snow but the mild weather gave more opportunities for outdoor photographs before the sun set. At Dover Town hall there were more photos before the wedding breakfast and then it was time for the speeches, the cake cutting and dancing…

Angelika & James’ Wedding

Angelika and James travelled a fair distance to get married in the absolutely wonderful wedding venue that is The Old Kent Barn at Smersole Farm in Swingfield between Dover and Folkestone. The barn was rebuilt a few years ago and I have been fortunate enough to photograph here a few times. I loved the white London taxi wedding car that takes the bride from the getting ready room round to the front door. As with all one venue weddings there is always more time for photographs, and The Old Kent Barn offers a multitude of great photo opportunities.

Charlotte & Kevin’s Wedding

Charlotte and Kevin were married at Molland Manor in Ash, near Sandwich, a lovely all day wedding venue that I had never visited before, and perfect for photographs. Lawn games and a fully stocked bar kept the guests occupied while Charlotte and Kevin accompanied me for a photo walk around the gardens…

Danielle & Matthew’s Wedding

Danielle and Matthew didn’t let the overcast sky ruin their special day. The venue for the whole day was the Bell Hotel in Sandwich, starting with photographs of the final stages of bridal preparation right through to the dancing. Formal photos were taken on the quayside of the river Stour that runs through Sandwich and in the beautiful gardens adjacent. Danielle and Matthew received 275 photos of their wedding day…

Hollie & Gary’s Wedding

Hollie and Gary were married in St. Andrew’s church in Dover on a lovely summers day. The day started with a few bridal prep shots at home before I made my way down to the church to photograph guests arriving. Some formal photographs were done at the church. The wedding reception venue was Centrespot, at Dover Athletic Football Club, providing more photo opportunities…

Louise & Dan’s Wedding

“I don’t want the heavens or the shooting stars. I don’t want gemstones or gold. I have those things already. I want… a steady hand. A kind soul.”
– Shana Abe

Louise and Dan married in the fabulous venue that is The Pines Calyx in St. Margaret’s Bay near Dover. The Pines has exceptionally beautiful gardens making this a wedding photographer’s paradise. Louise arrived in one of two vw campers with her bridesmaids. We were able to get photographs with the campervans down in the bay along with romantic shots with the magnificent white cliffs of Dover as a backdrop, before returning to the Pines Calyx for more photos throughout the day…

Chloe & Michael’s Wedding

Chloe & Michael were married at St. Andrews church in Dover on a lovely midsummer day. We did the formal photography with family and friends at the church, then stopped off at St. James’ church ruins in Dover for some romantic photographs of the bride and groom on their own before arriving at the reception venue, The Village Hall in St. Margaret’s Bay just outside of Dover. We then did more photos and requests and then the details, the speeches, some candids, the cake cutting and first and second dances. When I left at about 8pm the reception was in full swing…

Aimee & Adam’s Wedding

Aimee & Adam were blessed with glorious sunshine for their wedding at Bluebirds in Dover. I was asked to do a few bridal preparation shots at home first. We made use of the former St. James’ church, now ruins, in Dover for some radiant photographs of the lovely couple. The formal photos were taken inside and outside of Bluebirds wedding venue. Aimee and Adam received over 300 unique photographs and a number of black and white edits on top.

Julie & Paul’s Wedding

Julie & Paul married in Las Vegas and had their blessing and reception at The Sports Club in Deal in Kent. I love Vegas and would happily have gone with them to photograph their wedding, but had to make do with Deal. Despite a bit of rain the party was in full swing, and I mean full swing, Julie and Paul are keen dancers and so were many of their friends. Those that didn’t dance enjoyed themselves drinking!
